We are excited to present to you the fabulous estate of Carol Patilla of Beckley, WV. Ms. Patilla’s collection is a reflection of her love of family and home. The many items available in this auction are a testimony to her commitment to making her home a place of warmth and welcoming. You will find many beautiful decorative pieces to add to your collection of Home Interior, as well as modern décor. A collection of furniture ranging from an antique Victorian style chair and table to a beautiful Waterfall Bedroom Suite to MCM Dining Room furniture, Living Room Décor completed with Modern Sectional Sofa, and Recliner. Accent pieces include Tiffany Style lamps, marble top tables and Entertainment furniture. Check out the vintage Technics sound system.  

Many household items are available as well as personal collections. A large collection of jewelry, costume jewelry and jewelry chests, ladies’ shoes, clothing, etc.  A well equipped kitchen includes dishes, appliances, cleaning appliances, Tupperware, etc. 

Every season is represented in this collection a very impressive selection of Christmas decorations, including outside “blow-up” Winnie the Pooh, a variety of Christmas trees for every room and corner. In addition a diverse offering of Christmas statuary, candles, greenery and décor. Also included is decorations for every holiday, Easter, Valentine’s day, St. Patrick’s day, July 4th, Fall, etc.  

Additional offering includes a riding lawn mower, gardening tools, etc.

Farmer Auctions presents the personal property auction of Lois “Susie” Sadler of Pembroke, VA. Some highlights include a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria 4-door sedan, a Ford 1943 farm tractor, 2010 series John Deere Crawler tractor/bulldozer, a Cub Cadet lawn mower LT 1050, horse drawn equipment, a mower, plow, rakes, saddles, and a pony cart. 

Susie and her husband Randy built and created a lovely home and mini farm in Pembroke, VA. Susie worked over 40 years at the local Celanese plant and was very active in her church and the community. Her home offers a large selection of antiques and vintage items, an enormous collection of Russian nesting dolls, mid-century glass such a 3-toed Swung vase, Pyrex Crazy Daisy, Blenko, Empoli blue cased compote, a moon and stars lamp, Fenton, Northwood carnival, a vintage ceramic Christmas tree, art glass, McCoy pottery, a large collection of Pfaltzgraff, several lots of vintage Christmas, Hot Wheels, marbles, games, trains, race tracks, and a child’s metal tractor.

Furnishings include some beautiful mirrors, upholstery furniture, meal chest, cook stove, dining hutch and table, cedar wardrobe and blanket chest. There are also cookbooks, sewing machines, a pool table, outdoor swing, concrete planters, oak table chairs, a mid-century chest, hand tools, old cameras, crocks, porch rockers, layoff garden plow, antique metal wheels, sleds, a deacon bench, a church bench, bedroom suites, clocks, trunks, shelves, and old loom and so much more. A lifetime collection of lake accessories, antiques and collections.  The family moved here from Pennsylvania where they owned their own  antique shop with an eye for unique pieces.  Buyers can see two artists’ representations of this beloved shop in the auction.  This auction includes vintage items such as antique boxes and trunks, blue and white Spongeware pieces, dolls by Fannie Sturgeon, bears by Steiff and Boyds Bears, and a coin operated phone by Automatic Electric Company. Among the handmade pieces are hand carved decoys, a signed hand carved heron on driftwood and a selection of handmade wool rugs. Also included are pottery pieces by Thora Terra Pottery and local artist Dave Ovenshire. Art collectors will love to own paintings that were created in a room that overlooks the lake. This auction has plenty to offer to those who love the water and time outdoors. Nautical décor can be found throughout this auction including a large-scale boat model with wooden body and fabric sails. You can even think about enjoying the scenery made easier with the numerous options for outdoor seating that includes two unique and fun fish-shaped Adirondack chairs.

What joy it brings us here at Farmer Auctions to be able to assist and now celebrate with the rockin’ LaRocks of Roanoke, Va. Rick and Robin are selling it all and trading it in for new adventures and memories at the beach! That's where you likely will find them rockin’ in the near future and enjoying all their fun hobbies. In addition to the LaRock collection, this auction includes some fine items from a local Roanoke estate and some items from several other sellers.

This auction includes an outstanding array of semi-precious jewelry (gold and silver), antique and household furnishings,  automotive shop tools and machinery, Tiffany-style lamps, pocket watches and other timepieces. Other highlights include multiple lots of sterling silver dining ware, racing collectibles, model cars, and lawn ornaments. There are many lots of exquisite Asian art and decor, which include Japanese Imari bowls and plates. Some other unique items include a rare Pic-Nic peanut jar from Suffolk, Va and a pair of Christie Automotive multiple battery chargers. 

For you vehicle enthusiasts, there is a 1987 Chevrolet 3500 Square Body Brushfire Truck, fully-equipped with lights, sirens, tank and pump and a 2002 Ford Transit Van.

Farmer Auctions is pleased to present The Estate of Jacob Santon. Mr. Santon was a known community icon in Princeton, West Virginia. He ran Santon Brothers Department Store for 30 years. His love of books and knowledge led him to teach at Concord College for 13 years as well as sell real estate for 20 years. He was also a huge support to his local community with fundraising to build Princeton Community Hospital and Anne S. Hunnicutt Stadium. 

This estate has something to offer for everyone. From several Curtis Jere sculptures and David Terrance pieces to glassware of all kinds, including Fostoria Heirloom Pink, Heisey and Uranium Depression glass. There is Mid Century Modern furniture to suit all wants and needs. A 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Karavan Platinum trailer is also available.

There are so many treasures in this auction that is a collection from three generations of the McIntosh family of Princeton, WV. Clarence “Mack” and his wife Lena owned McIntosh Garage, a gas station and auto repair shop which was located on their property and this building still stands today. Their son William worked in this garage for many years and he and his wife Louise lived in a house just above the gas station. They had a love of flying and owned their own small plane. William worked as a pilot for Pocahontas Fuel where he flew coal mine owners back and forth to the mines. 

Their daughter Valerie and her husband Joe also live on this same property and have held onto many of the antiques from her parents and grandparents. Louise moved into a mobile home on the property years ago, and at age 86 now resides in a nursing home due to declining health.

This auction features pieces collected by this family for over 100 years including some equipment and tools used at the gas station and auto repair, a Honda 90 motorcycle, a Scoot-N-Go electric scooter, some vintage license plates and a 2001 Buick Century. 

Louise has an impressive collection of vintage handmade quilts, and many are featured in this sale. Some antiques of note include a Philco floor model radio, a Thomas Edison Amberola Cylinder Phonograph, a large collection of American Fostoria glassware, and antique Pyrex. She also had quite an extensive jewelry collection featuring many vintage brooches, watches, and gold and silver necklaces. Her love for Christmas shows in some of the festive seasonal lots.
